Senior Sales Professional

Financial Navigator, Inc. is an established and highly regarded wealth management software company experiencing exponential growth.  We literally have more leads coming in that we can efficiently handle and we are looking to build out our sales team to address this market opportunity.

We are based in Mountain View, CA, and have a clear understanding of the market space, our position and the opportunities for continued growth.  Some key strengths:

As a sales professional you will interact and communicate with Family Office Managers, their CPAs, CFOs, Financial Advisors, Bankers and others from the financial services arena, in presenting an integrated solution to financial and wealth managers.

As a member of the Sales team you will be responsible for:
  • Qualifying leads delivered by our marketing efforts
  • Understanding the internal business processes of potential clients
  • Identifying, developing, and articulating our application’s compelling value proposition to prospective customers and current end users
  • Demonstrating the basic and intermediate features and benefits of financial management application to prospects in a manner that addresses their primary reasons for looking to automate their systems.
  • Demonstrating meticulous follow-up and responsiveness to customers and internal staff
  • Managing the sales-cycles including the affirmation of intermediary financial advisors, CPAs, CFOs, investment managers and occasionally the principals.
  • Strategizing, presenting and demonstrating a tailored business presentation via web conferences as well as in person
  • Attending conferences and tradeshows
  • Responding to RFPs, writing proposals and quotations, and all other aspects of the sales cycle
  • Managing and monitoring the post-sale process through client implementation
  • Working in conjunction with our Account Executives to deliver a consistent and compelling brand experience
To be successful, you will likely have:
  • 3 or more years of successfully selling high-value software or technical services
  • Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience or sound knowledge of the capital markets and portfolio management theory.
  • Ability to work in a sales team oriented company environment with minimal supervision
  • A successful track record in business development/sales
  • A solid working skill set for Spreadsheets and Word Processing.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Goldmine, ACT, Sugar CRM, Sage CRM, Salesforce, etc.
  • Technical background sufficient to discuss the options for a network installation, workstation requirements.
  • The skill to prioritize opportunities that will lead to new industry penetration, new account acquisition and incremental revenue growth
  • A high level of integrity, ethical standards and desire to be part of a growing sales team
  • Strong software skills
  • A 4 year degree
