We Make Sure You're Up and Running

Although we call it "Basic Support," that's just because it's included with your Navigator license. There's nothing basic about it. For 30 days, you get everything you need to get running on Navigator. And afterwards, if you feel you'll only occasionally need assistance, then perhaps timed support is for you.

Basic Support

The following support services are included when you purchase FNI software:

30 Days Basic Installation Support

Installation support includes answering questions about how to install the software and uninstall previous versions of the software (if applicable). The 30-day support period begins when you receive your software. When the 30-day period ends, additional support services for Personal Office Edition or Standard Office Edition users are available on a paid basis.

If you would like a thorough overview of Navigator's extensive capabilities, we recommend that you attend one of our training classes held throughout the country, or purchase our training guides.

Answers to questions about other procedures and capabilities are not included in installation support. Many of these answers can be found quickly and easily in the extensive product Help system and reference materials that came with the software, as well as on each product's Web Help Desk. To access this help, go to the Menu of Navigator’s Help Section and look for "Web Help".

Navigator User Forum

If you experience a problem or simply want to know more about your FNI software, you may view questions on the Navigator Users Forum. Only users with Annual Maintenance may post questions on the Forum.

Questions sent posted on the forum will usually be answered within 48-72 hours of receipt.

Timed-Support

Timed-Support is designed for users who have the occasional question about Navigator and are not in a time critical work environment. All timed-support questions are handled on a callback system — you will receive a callback from one of our highly trained support technicians on the following business day.

Prices for Timed-Support
  • $75 for the first 15 minutes
  • $20 for every 10 minutes (or portion of) after the initial 15 minutes

At this time, FNI no longer supports any program prior to version 8.0.

Extensive Help Resources

The help resources include product Help (select Help from the software's menu bar), reference materials (manual and upgrade booklets), and the Web Help Desk (select Help | FNI on the Web from the menu bar). Comprehensive and detailed, these resources are designed to tell you about the software's rich capabilities and help you troubleshoot problems, should they occur.
