You're Not Alone. We're Here to Help.

Choose from a number of user support options that best serve you. We've fine tuned Support to serve you at the level you want.

With Support, You Have Options

We offer multiple user support and service options that range from same-day service to multiple on-line sources of help. In this section, find out more about support, plus the latest Navigator and add-on module updates:

Annual Maintenance Program - Choose from multiple support options, including unlimited support help for those who want the security of knowing they have a technician, and limited support for those who need assistance only occasionally.

Incident Support - Select a case-by-case, timed support plan. Only available to users who are not on an Annual Maintenance Program.

Navigator User Forum - Join the Navigator User Forum to obtain user support on-line 24-hours per day, seven days a week, and to share ideas and learn how to use Navigator most effectively.

Navigator Resource Center - Use the Navigator Resource Center to find out about everything from partnership accounting to transaction entry tips and tricks.

Software Updates - Get the latest Navigator software updates for all Navigator releases and add-on modules.

Get trained on Navigator where you work or at one of our seminars. Or if you want Navigator customized to fit your unique needs, we can do that too. At FNI, we’re committed to providing the level of training, specialized consulting, or software program customization that you require.

Got a problem using our software?

We recommend that you take certain steps to solve your problem as quickly as possible.

Web Help Desk

If you’re using the current Navigator software version, the Web Help Desk can assist you. The Help Desk includes the most up-to-date troubleshooting information available.

With the program running:

  1. Select Help | FNI on the Web (this will automatically invoke your Internet connection).
  2. Start your preferred Web browser.
  3. Connect to the FNI Help Desk for the particular software version in question.
  4. If you are able to run the software, look up the problem in the product's Help system.
  5. With the software running, select Help | Troubleshooting from the menu bar to look up information about a particular problem (you also may search the Help system by keyword).
  6. If you are unable to run the software in question, look up the problem in the reference manual/upgrade booklets that came with your software.
  7. Search the index for keywords related to your problem.
  8. It is also useful to check the Troubleshooting section of the manual of FN Help System.


To review questions from other users, look in the online Navigator User Forum. Select the appropriate category and forum for the questions. You can also search all the forums by keywords that describe the topic of interest. In many cases, you will be able to solve your problem quickly and easily using one or more of these techniques. If not, you may want to consult with our support professionals.
