On wide reports such as the 12 mos Balance sheet, the Change to Landscape option must be unchecked. On the Report Setup screen, select the Layout tab. Unselect the [ ] Change to Landscape option. Change to Landscape will flip the orientation from Portrait to Landscape when the report is too wide to fit on one page. Next it will try to Reduce Font Size to fit on a single page, if this option is checked. Otherwise the report may be printed on two pages.
Also the report width may be reduced by unselecting the Balance Sheet Report option for printing [ ] Cents (.00)(12 month).
Note: In FN 8.0 there are many changes relative to this situation.
1) Use the new Balance Sheet Report option to not print [ ] Starting Balance (12 months). This will eliminate the Starting Balance column that was added in 7.5.
2) Use the new Balance Sheet Report option to not [ ] Indent Names(12 months). This will indent or left align all names in the 12 month reports. By not indenting the name, then the account name columns may not be as wide.
3) In FN 8.0, all the Report Layout options such as [ ] Change to Landscape can be selected to "Save only for this report". This will save the setting only for this report for that set of data.
4) Report formating that are changed will be automatically saved by report for that set of data. For example, the column width and body fonts could be changed just for the 12 month Balance sheet report.
With these capabilities the 12 Month reports can be set to fit on a single page and it will be remembered for next time.
Please see FN version 8.0 documentation for complete description.
