I am using FN 8.0.4I have problems printing reports to my HP 4si. The first page of each report comes out perfect. Each subsequent page (2,3, etc) comes out garbage--the header/title is fine but the text looks like a bunch of code (eeepp111 PP a). If I print each page separatly-first print page 1, then print page 2, next print page 3, etc. it is fine. But if I try to print entire report at once it does not work. Help ------------------ ahgatto

There was a problem relating to printing on many HP4 series printers in versions of FN 8.0 earlier than 8.0.4. This is discussed at the topic Body of Report blank on HP 4 in 8.0.1.Please take the following steps to try to diagnose this problem. - First, verify that you are using version 8.0.4.
- From the main FN menu, select Help | About Financial Navigator
- The second line of the dialog box will tell you which version you have.
- If you have 8.0.3 or earlier, run Software Update.
- Try printing a report after running Software Update. If you still have the problem, continue below.
- Try running report to screen first and then printing it.
- Select the report you wish to print.
- Do not select Print - instead, select Screen.
- With the report on the screen, select Print
- Verify your printer drivers. Try using the "HP4 Plus" printer driver. To add a new printer driver in Windows 98 (other operating systems differ slightly):
- Select Start | Settings | Printers | Add Printer
- Select HP from the Manufacturer list and HP LaserJet 4 Plus from the Printers list.
- Depending on the files installed on your computer, you may need to locate and insert your original Windows CD to complete this step.
- Has this been a problem for a while or did it just crop up? Did FN 8.0 print fine before? Has some other program recently been installed? If so, try reinstalling FN 8.0 especially the windows library files.
If these steps do not work, please come back to this topic and hit Reply. {Do not start a new topic.) In your reply, tell us what you have found and what is happening. ------------------ Renée Trudeau Financial Navigator Int'l Manager, Technical Services

Reply.1. Yes I am using 8.0.4 2. I was already doing this 3. Did this - seems to have fixed the problem Yeah! Hopefully will not cause problems with other programs. 4. It had been a problem since I bought the printer. So, I kept sending things my another printer instead. Thank you ------------------ ahgatto
