jordonez Member	posted 01-21-2002 09:57 AM I decided to set up some Automatic reports in one of my entities. When I tried to run it (get printed reports) I got the following error message: "Error writing file A:Reporter.prn Bad file name or number (Error 52)" What gives??!! IP: Logged
Renee Member	posted 01-22-2002 03:37 PM The error message says that the file is trying to write to the a: drive (i.e., the floppy disk drive). This means that instead of printing the selected reports to the printer, the program is trying to "print" the reports to a file on the a: drive. To fix this, do the following: Go to the Automatic Reports selection screen Click on Print Report To (which appears at the top right corner of the Automatic Reports selection screen) Select Printer rather than File. ------------------ Renée Trudeau Financial Navigator Int'l Manager, Technical Services IP: Logged
