It is true that formatting changes will not be "remembered" for the next report you run.

However :

  • You can save an individual report in .far, .xls, or .pdf format with the formatting intact.
  • With .far, you can re-open the report and modify further if needed. With .xls, you can also change numbers etc. in Excel.
  • Note: To save formatting when exporting to Excel in Navigator 8.2 and 9.0, use File | Save as XLS not File | Export to Excel and not the Excel button.
  • You may be able to save formatting changes for new reports in a future version (9.1?) of Navigator. Our developers are working on it.
