How do I change sub-titles on my Balance Sheets? I want to change the "Net Income" to "Retained Earning" on the Summary Balance Sheet and "Net Income-Prior Years" to "Retained Earnings-Prior Years" on the Balance Sheet Analysis. Thanks for the help.

Net Income is one of the built-in Equity accounts. The other is Networth.

These can be changed from the Accounts menu, Change Equity Names.

They are normally Equity and Retained Earnings for businesses and Networth and Net Income for individual. They will be set based on the type of organization selected when the entity was first set up. However, these names can be later changed from Accounts | Change Equity Names.

For more info see the FN Help file for index topic Changing Equity Names.
