After deleting a transaction sometimes I get that error message.

The partial sale account is not deleted if it is not found. It matches on the name, cost & tax basis, number of shares, sold date, proceeds.

If these do not match then a message will appear "Partial Sale Account not found." This indicates that the partial sale account was not found so if the account was not previously deleted then you will need to go delete it.
