Topic: partial sold accounts not being created

John-
I'm having a problem when entering sales of securities that are partial sales. Everything looks ok on entry, FN asks if this is a partial sale, etc, but the partial sale account is not being created. Any thoughts?sde ------------------

- Select Accounts | Asset & Liability Info
- Select the asset account you're having a problem with (i.e. the asset you're selling part of)
- Carefully check the following fields on the Asset & Liability Info screen:
- Most important: Check the Format Type field. (Last one on the screen). This must be a Capital Asset Format type such as "Common/Preferred Stock."
- Check the Date Sold field. This should be blank.
- Check the Proceeds field. This field should say ".00"
