Author Topic:   Sold stock jordonez Member posted 05-22-2002 09:49 AM          I entered a partial sale of an investment. When I run a cost basis balance sheet that sold share shows up with the cost basis of the partial showing in the cost basis column, zero in the Balance column and the difference (or cost basis) is showing up in the Net Worth section as an unrealized loss in the cost basis column!! I can understand why this would happen. I made a similar transaction prior to this one and its sold piece is not showing up in the balance sheet!! I even ran a Test and Correct feature and nothing showed up or changed! Help! IP: Logged jordonez Member posted 05-23-2002 07:31 AM          I found my problem (after much searching)! Somehow my sale date was after the month I was reporting on. So, when I corrected that everything fell into place. Thanks for trying!
