Map the drives on the new computer to the hard drives on the other existing computer. Make sure the folders on the existing computer are marked as shared.
To map the drives use Windows Explorer. Select Tools | Map Network Drives. Select the drive letter you want to use for this workstation. Specify the path to the other existing workstation. Be sure to check the [x] Reconnect at Logon option. To mark the folder on the existing workstation as shared, right click on the folder and select Shared. If the Shared menu choice is not available on the popup menu, then the File sharing option is not set in the Network properties. From the desktop, right click on the Network Neighborhood and select Properties. Select File and Print Sharing. Select the option [x] I want to give others access to my files.
Note: If you enable file sharing and are connected to the internet such as DSL then make sure you have some firewall protection. Otherwise, outsiders may be able to access your files from over the internet.
Now the mapped drives should show up in the list of drives on the FN File | Open screen.
