We have a peer-to-peer network. Only one machine has internet access. All three machines run Financial Navigator. How do I run software update on the machines without internet access?

  1. Run Software Update on the machine with internet access.
  2. Copy the file fnwin80x.exe from the internet-enabled machine to each of the other machines in your peer-to-peer network. (Be sure to put this file in the folder containing the FN 8.0 program files on each machine.)
  3. Using Windows Explorer or My Computer, run the fnwin80x.exe file on each computer. This will install the new version of FN each computer it is run on.

Note: Use fnwin81x.exe if you are using the FN 8.1 version.
