1. Install FN on the computer that has internet access.
2. Run Software Update on that machine.
3. Copy the file fnwin80x.exe from the internet-enabled machine to the machine(s) on which you need to install the update. (Be sure to put this file in the folder containing the FN 8.0 program files on each machine.)
4. For guidance whether you should install the update on the server, the workstations, or both, please refer the topic Workstation Install vs. Full Install
5. Using Windows Explorer or My Computer, run the fnwin80x.exe file. This will install the new version of FN.
   

If the internet-enabled computer does not have FN installed and you don't want to have it installed, then you can download the update directly without using FN.

1. On the internet-enabled machine, go to this address ftp://www.finnav.com/ftp/fnwin80x.exe
2. When prompted, select Save To Disk. Remember the name of the file your save the file in. It's okay to use something like "Temp" because you're eventually going to erase the file anyway.
3. Copy the file fnwin80x.exe from the internet-enabled machine to the machine(s) on which you need to install the update. (Be sure to put this file in the folder containing the FN 8.0 program files on each machine.)
4. For guidance whether you should install the update on the server, the workstations, or both, please refer the topic Workstation Install vs. Full Install
5. Using Windows Explorer or My Computer, run the fnwin80x.exe file. This will install the new version of FN.
6. Go back to the internet-enabled machine and erase the file fnwin80x.exe as it is no longer needed there.
