That depends upon where your Financial Navigator program currently resides. It's easy to find out where it is.
- Start Financial Navigator from one of your workstations as you normally do.
- From the main FN menu, select Help | About Financial Navigator. Be sure to select Help from the menu, not from the Tool bar.
- Look for the line on the About Financial Navigator page that begins FNWin Exe
- If this line says something like "c:\fn\finwin80.exe", then FN is running on the local workstation. If it says something like "t:\fn\fnwin80.exe", then FN is running on the network server.
If FN is currently running on the network server:
You don't need to do anything on the workstations. Just perform a "full install" of the update on the server and you're done.
Note: if this is the first installation of FN rather than an upgrade, you will also need to run a "workstation install" on each workstation. This is not needed on upgrades, however.)
If FN is running on the individual workstations:
You need to do a "full install" of the update on each workstation.
