1. In the FN product, select Help | FNI on the web. This will open your browser to the Help Desk web page for that version of that product. For example, for FN 8.0 it will open your browser to FN 8.0 Help Desk. Once at the Help Desk, select the link to "Download lastest software update".

2. Or in your browser, enter the link directly for the product and version wanted Such as:
   • FN 8.0
     ftp://www.finnav.com/ftp/fnwin80x.exe
   • FN 7.5
     ftp://www.finnav.com/ftp/fnwin75x.exe
   
   

In either case, save the file such as fnwin80x.exe in a temp folder. Then after it has finished downloading, run the program from Windows Explorer, as follows:

1. Right-click on the Start button.

2. Left-click on Explore

3. In the left pane, left-click on your Temp folder (or wherever you put the file you just downloaded).

4. Find the file you downloaded in the right pane.

5. Double click on the file name you just located.

6. This will install the new update.
