We have Navigator installed on a server and many workstations. We are getting new workstations and wonder how to install Navigator on the new workstations.

Since you already have Navigator installed on the server, it is simple to install on the new workstations:
  1. Map a network drive on the new workstation. Use the same drive letter and path you used on the existing workstations. If you have separate drive letters for the Navigator program folder and the data folder, map both. See "Mapping network drives on each workstation" in Navigator Help or the printed Reference Guide.
  2. Set Windows permissions so the workstation user has full read/write permission on the mapped drive.
  3. Install Navigator form the CD. When requested, select Workstation Install (not Full Install) and browse to the mapped drive that has the Navigator program.
  4. Install any other Navigator programs like CheckForm or BrokerLink.
Note that no Product Keys, Deactivation/Activation, or Software Updates are required, since all that happens on the server.
