How does F/N round? I write payroll checks on F/N using automatic entries. I use Excel to keep track of payroll for tax reporting and verification purposes. I would like to enter the hours worked in Excel and have it compute the gross salary and deductions, but I need to know how F/N rounds so that the deductions as calculated by F/N are the same as those calculated by Excel.

Thanks.

Action codes 64 through 79 allow you to enter a factor that is used in Automatic Entries to calculate the amount of the transaction.

A factor may contain as many as six significant digits and computations are accurate to six digits. The following three examples are valid factors:

.123456
123.456
123,456.

See the section Transaction and Data Parameters in the FN Reference Guide or onscreen Help.
