When running Securities Portfolio Reports, the Symbols-Subtotals, and Accounts Same Symbols although checked in the Options menu, no longer appear on the report.Instead of Symbols, at the end of the groups sub-totals the name of the security appears, some with the name only, and others print security names, followed by a zero, or 8, or 9, or 20. I've run the investment reports in a variety of ways as suggested by FN. No success. Any ideas?

In FN Version 8.1, when the Symbol subtotals and the Accounts-Same Symbol options are selected, the report shows the security NAME instead of the stock SYMBOL for the subtotal line description.If you have different security names for security assets with the same stock symbol, FN uses the first characters each name has in common. Only when there are fewer characters in common for the name than there are characters in the stock symbol does the system use the stock symbol on the subtotal line. To change the appearance of your reports, rename your accounts in the Chart of Accounts.
