Suggest using tab key to go from field to field in a transaction record; then, suggest using the enter key to enter the record, no matter where the cursor happens to be in the transaction. This might solve the present problem of having to do multiple enter-key strokes when invoking already completed periodic transactions. This should not interfere with the use of the tab key to display lists.

Try using the down arrow key to go to the next transaction once the transaction is complete.

I have tried to use the down arrow key, as I had been doing on FN 7.5 and it dosen't seem to work. I am invoking three completely filled in transactions in my checking account register. They are deposits of constant amounts, periodic each month, each under the same periodic activity number. On the invoke, the first one comes up, the cursor is on the payor field. I hit the down arrow, nothing happens. I hit the return key until the next transaction record comes up; it is a new transaction, not the second periodic transaction in the activity number group. ?

You are right. The down arrow on the payee name does not go to the next transaction. Same on Account. Let us work on that.As for the next Periodic Transactions coming up, does it come up ok if you hit enter?

John, When I tried all the different ways to enter a periodic record, I found that hitting the enter key, a number of times, to the end of the transaction, even though it was completely filled in, except for the memo field, did not bring up the next record in the invoke list, but rather, a new, empty record came up, and I had to go back and re-invoke each of the remaining records in the invoke list.I tried some other things, but don't recall the details. Thanks for giving this some attention. Chuck gahr
