Maybe FinNav can do this but I haven't figured out how.
I have separate accounts for each stock purchased, when they are bought on different dates or prices. So I may have many entries for the same stock. I know in the investment reports that you can have them group those with the same symbol, but I wish in balance sheet reporting that your program could summarize these stock holdings with one line entry for no. of shares and total cost basis etc. I know that there is a summary balance sheet but that does not give me the detail I want. I guess what I want is sub-ledgers that flow up to a main module.

Oh well, I can wish!

I agree that this would be very helpful. Sometimes the balance sheet contains too much detail and the concise balance sheet, too little. Something in between would be a nice addition.
