We just upgraded from 8.1 to 8.2, but this comment applies to either version. When entering checks into the checking account, once the vendor is entered an account automatically is selected (unless the automatic entry was canceled). Once the account is filled automatically the cursor jumps to the amount field, skipping the memo field. Since the memo field is used on almost every check it would be nice if after the account the cursor went there next, instead of having to tab back once the amount is entered. Everything works, it would just be nicer if the tab order were changed.

Thank you for your feedback about Financial Navigator. This is a great suggestion, and has been implemented in the latest early release version of Financial Navigator 8.2. When automatic entries are created during transaction entry for a new payee/payor, FN will now add the 'Enter Memo' action to the Automatic Entry if a memo was entered for the first time. The tab order will now stop on the memo field when this payee/payor is used again. You can also add the 'Enter Memo' action as the last item in your existing Automatic Entries to force FN to stop on the memo field when tabbing during Transaction Entry. If you are running FN 8.2 Early Release you can run a Software Update to receive this new feature.
