We ran software update for 7.5 to install lastest version 7.5.3.
Now from other workstations we are getting the error 339 vsview6.ocx is not correctly registered. It only happens when we try to print reports.
What is the solution?

With software update for 7.5.3, a new windows library file (vsview6.ocx) needs to be installed on each workstation. Normally for software update only the FN programs is changed. But in the case of 7.5.3, it required a new windows library file (vsview6.ocx) to solve printing problems.

Solution is to run the software update for each workstation so the windows library file vsview6.ocx will be copied to the c:\windows\system folder and registered. This must be done for each workstation.

Note: the file fnwin75x.exe can be downloaded just once for one workstation. Then run that same file fnwin75x.exe on the other workstations to do the install.

Normally when I do a software update, I do it from any workstation and select Full Installation. For the special case you describe, do I do the same thing for every workstation? Or do I select Workstation Installation instead?

Yes, in this special case you will need to run software update from each workstation. It can be either the Workstation install or the Full installation. Either one will copy the windows library files that are needed. The Full installation will copy the new program to the server again. Workstation will just copy the windows library files needed for that workstation. Workstation install is all that is needed.
