My husband has realize that our Canon c530 multifunction printer conflicts with Financial Navigator. The runtime error 50003 has appeared after using the fax and scan viewer software for the c530. If others get this error after scanning/faxing and viewing images, I believe Financial Navigator has a problem that needs to be addressed. If all users that get the 50003 error use Canon printer/fax/scaner devices, then Canon's software is to blame.

The problem is I need both my Canon and FN.

Anyone have any posible solutions?

Did you uninstall FN and then re-install FN as per the prior post instructions?

If after you re-install FN and get the latest software update, does the problem still exist?

If so, does the problem occur only after using the fax/scan capabilities? Or does FN work prior to using one of those capabilities and then stop working after you use the fax/scan?

Are you able to print to your Cannon using any other application other than FN reports? (e.g., Word, Excel)

What version of FN are you using? (FN 8.1.1?, FN 8.0.x?, FN 7.5.x?)

What Windows platform are you using? (Windows 98, NT, 2000, XP?)
