I had a Windows 98 crash, and I'm now trying to run my FN 8.0. When I try to do anything (go to transactions or reports), I'm getting Runtime error 339 dwshk32.ocx not correctly registered: file is missing or invalid
I had a couple of other ocx errors, but was able to correct by copying the files from my old windows backup directory to my new windows directory.
I got a copy of the file from a friend and tried to copy the file over in the new Windows/system directory, but still didn't work.I can't locate my FN 8.0 disk and FN now only provides 8.1 so I can't reinstall FN8.0. Please help.

Hello, thank you for posting your problem.In order for Financial Navigator to run you will need to the correct versions of a number of Windows library files including dwshk32.ocx. You can look in your user manual or FN help file to see the list of library files needed by FN. You will need your FN installation CD not only to install these files but to register them with Windows as well. Unfortunately, we cannot provide support for this procedure without using your FN installation disk. ---------------------------------------------
