Some FN users use Zone Alarm as an intrusion alert and firewall. Zone Alarm recently added anti-spyware features. Unfortunately, their spyware detector incorrectly reports that a program file used by FN is spyware. The file is DWSPY32.dll, which has been used in many software products for many years and should not be removed or quarantine. For more information about DWSPY32.dll, see the Desaware Spyworks program page at http://www.desaware.com/products/universalcom/spyworks/index.aspx. Also read Spyworks is not Spyware at http://www.desaware.com/tech/files/Spyworks%20is%20not%20Spyware-2.pdf.
We are working with Zone Labs to get Zone Alarm to allow this file. Meanwhile, you should instruct Zone Alarm to ignore the warnings about DWSPY32.dll.
AOL's anti-spyware program had a similar issue, but AOL has fixed it and you can now run AOL and FN without any problems. See Error 339. Component DWSHK32.ocx missing or not correctly registered.
