Thank you for your post.

Do you know if FN worked correctly after you installed it, but before CFN was installed?

A white screen when opening up Financial Navigator usually indicates that the program is trying to automatically open up a previous set of data files which no longer exist. This can also occur if your computer does not have a C:\ drive.

To remedy this, we must first point Financial Navigator to a existing set of data files, delete the recently used file list, and then reset FN so it doesn't open up an existing set of data files.

To do this, open the properties window on the FN shortcut by, right-click on the FN shortcut on your desktop (or the start menu) and select Properties.
In the Start in field, type in a path with known set of data files (such as the sample data folder that comes installed with fn). Click on Ok and close the window.

Financial Navigator should open. Next, go to the File menu and select Clear Recently Used File List. Close Financial Navigator.

Reopen the properties window on the shortcut and change the Start In field to the folder right above your data files. For example, if your files are stored in D:\FN\FNdata\(entity_filename) have it point to d:\FN\FNdata\

Please let us know if this solves your problem.
