On the cash flow report, what all is included in the line item that reads transfer clearing account. To my knowledge, that line should reflect the net debits/credits for paydown on debt that passes through the transfer clearing account. ie, credit cards, accounts payable, and/or bank credit lines.

Yes, that is correct. However, that line also reflects the net debits/credits for any transfers that occur between cash journals (checking accounts, savings accounts, brokerage accounts) as well.

See the post Transfer clearing account for further information.
