The Simple Way
- Go to Report Selection, and select the balance sheet you want.
- Select Screen.
- Select the row(s) you want to hide.
- Right-click on the selected area.
- Select Row | Hide
This technique merely hides the selected rows, but it does not refoot the report. The Preferred Method
- Go to the Chart of Accounts.
- Select the account(s) you wish to hide from the report.
- Add a qualifier to each of the selected reports. For example, if the account name is FURNITURE, change the account name to FURNITURE/X.
- Exit the Chart of Accounts.
- Go to Report Selection.
- Select Qualifier.
- Type the qualifier you just selected in the Qualifier box.
- Check the Exclude box. (very important!)
- Click OK.
- Select the report you wish to produce.
- Select Screen.
- Select View | Header to put the report header on the screen.
- Edit the header so that "/X (Exclude)does not appear.
- Print your report.
This technique produces a properly footed report that omits the desired information. ------------------ Renée Trudeau Financial Navigator Service Provider
