Is there a way to hide lines with zeros?
example: a security was sold and 3 columns reflect zeros except the beg bal column.
Can I hide the entire line?

If any of the columns have a number in them, the line will normally appear. However, ou can hide lines in any report.

  1. Select the report you want, then select Screen.
  2. Select the row or rows you wish to hide.
  3. Right click.
  4. Select Row from the pop-up menu.
  5. Select Hide.
  6. Print the report.

NOTE: FN does not remember changes to rows, only columns. Thus you'll have to hide the rows every time you print the report.

Alternatively, try using the Cost Basis Balance Sheet. This report doesn't have a Beginning Balance column. Since all the columns on the Cost Basis Balance sheet would be zero for this item, it won't appear.
