I have been keeping this report "clean" w/zero unrealized g/l in the cost column; however for the current month there is now a $170M amount sitting there!!! I know about making transactions entries for these types of activities in banking accounts. I have no general journal transactions this month. Where else can I look for this problem?

Are you using the most current FN version? Go to Help|About Financial Navigator and the version should be 8.0.4. If not, please do a software update from that screen.

Try running a test and correct. Go to Utilities|Test and Correct and choose "all of the above", then go back and check your report.

Try running an transactions by account report for unrealized gains/losses account and see where the activity came from. Then you can see if there was an error in an entry and correct it.

If not, let me know what the entry is and we will go from there.

Also see cost basis reports for more information.
