In Version 8.1 I do not see a report that tracks balance sheet month over month, a 12 month balance sheet. This report was available in v 8.0. How do you now generate this 12 rolling report?

FN 8.1 has different reports available by the FN edition (PE, SOE, POE). This information was covered in the marketing material, and is also available at the FNI Web site at www.finnav.com.On the FNI main Web site page, select the Financial Navigator Version 8.1 link on the left column. Then select the edition you have, Personal, Standard Office, or Professional Office to view the Report List available for that edition. Please call the sales department for more information on how you can get an upgrade to include the report you want at 650-962-0300 and select the sales department option.

Thank you for the reply. The reference verifies that FN has deleted the 12 month balance sheet report for the Personal Edition. Most disappointing that at the cost of upgrading that one gets less in terms of value from this kind of report. I will contact the sales department and register my disappointment but get the drift of the direction FN is headed. Thanks.

I recently upgraded to 8.1 and found the 12 month rolling balance sheet was no longer available also. Juan suggested I visit this website to see if someone had discovered how to create the report. Obviousely, no one has discovered a solution. I am very disappointed and am sorry I did not read the literature more clearly. I have to agree that I too see where Financial Navigator is headed. I feel this is unfair and a poor business decision.------------------

I did figure out how to develop the rolling balance sheet by exporting to excel, however it is very time consuming unless you make no sales or purchases as far as detail report is concerned. Not having this simple tool for reveiw makes the value of the software less appealing to me. I am glad to see that someone else found this report missing to be a pain, but it does not appear, from lack of a response to acknowledge the concern from FN, that FN plans to do anything about it. I did speak with a sales person about it originaly, and think maybe contintuing to call back about it may at least generate some interest in putting the report back in.
