We have two templates with different Chart of Accounts, one for an individual, the other for a trust account. I try to open the template in order to continue with steps explained in "Jordonez" post dtd 10/23/01 and the system prompts: 'the trust template is not currently on the entity list'. Of course, I don't want the template to be on the entity list. What to I do?

To work around having a template without using an additional entity, you need to put the templates in the SAMPLE entity. The Sample files do not use an additional entity.Follow the instructions on the forum post: new entity With the following exceptions: - When you save the file, save it with your template name (i.e. Trust Template)
- When you change the entity name, use Dewey as first name, Vera as Spouse, and Goode as last name (for Individual) with the spelled out entity name being Dewey & Vera Goode, and Goode (for Trust) with the spelled out entity name being Dewey & Vera Goode.
- This puts your template in the Sample Entity files under Dewey & Vera Goode. Thus no new entity is used.
- You will recognize your template by the file name you saved it as (i.e. Trust Template)
- Follow the rest of the directions, and you should have your new template under the Sample entity without using an additional entity name.
