I started the new year and thought that I had requested that prior year actuals be used in current year for prior year info. The prior year info for income stmts shows zero balances and amts. Is there any way to update current year 2001 to include prior actual amts 2000.

Unfortunately there is not an menu choice to update budgets/last year actuals from a previous year's set of data such as the update starting balances.

These amounts can be entered for each account on the Account | Budget for Accounts menu.

This feature is on the list of suggestions for a future version.

Is there a file that is created with start a new year containing the budget data tha could be copied to current data directory. Or is it possible to export the data from the previous year and import to current year. Just hoping that there is some way rather than to have to input by hand all accounts and all months.

Unfortunately not. The budgets and account balances are all in the same file.

Did you want the budgets from last year or the actuals?

Obviously there is a 12 Month Budget Report or 12 Month Income Statement. These can be set to print cents. Any report can be copy and pasted into a spread sheet.

Unfortunately I do not know of an easier way.
Would you be interested in someone doing this on a contract development? If so let us know.
