When I select the "Delete Sold Investment Accounts" option, does this delete accounts in the old year or in the new year?

All options apply only to the new year files.

The sold investment accounts must remain in the old year for the schedule D tax report.

So selecting the Delete Sold Investment Accounts will not carry these account over to the new year. Since these accounts have a zero balance and a sold date they do not appear on the balance sheet and on the investment reports. The exemption is if the Investment Report Option was selected to show account sold in prior years. Also this accounts would not appear on the schedule D report for the new year since they were not sold in the new year.

This option just helps to easily eliminate old accounts.
