If the printer is a network and not the local printer then the printer port needs to be captured and redirected to the network printer. From the work station, select Start | Settings | Printers. Right click on the printer and select Properties. On the Details tab, select Capture Printer Port. Set the Device: to the port set when CFN was installed such as LPT1. Set the Path: to the network printer. Be sure to check the option to [x] Reconnect at logon. So the settings will be remember when the workstation is restarted.
Note: if the workstation has a local printer attached to LPT1 then CFN should be re-installed to use a different port such as LPT2. Otherwise everything sent to the local printer on LPT1 will be captured and redirected to the network printer.
Note: this needs to be done only once on installation but for each workstation using CFN.
