Look as similar topic at run-time error 5 But if you cannot delete the lsr*.chk, lsr*.chr or lsr*.cha files then try to rename them such as lsr*.chk2, lsr*.chr2, lsr*.cha2. This will also solve the problem of the same checks printing over and over again.
The lsr*.chk file contains the checks yet to be printed. The lsr*.chr file contains the check just printed (released). The lsr*.cha file is an archive of all checks printed.
If the lsr*.chr file does not get deleted then the lsr*.chk file does not get renamed to the lsr*.chr file. So the lsr*.chk file just accumulating all the checks.
Note: All the lsr*.chk, lsr*.chr and lsr*.cha files can be deleted. The lsr*.chk file gets created when a new check is send to CFN to be printed. Any new checks are appended to the lsr*.chk file.
If you are unable to delete these files, then check with the network administrator. Make sure the user, you are logged on the network as, has permission to delete files (specifically lsr*.chr) in the FN data file folders.
