In one of my entities I set up the CFN settings and saved it, but when I tried to print a check I got the error message:

Error trying to open description file:
C:\ABC\PLSR2.DES

The file was saved to:
C:\ABC\P&FRINV\LSR2.DES

I am using Windows 2000 and FN 8.0
I can access the entity and do everything except print checks.

In Windows 2000, you can not have an entity folder with any symbols in the file name (i.e. &,*,%,$,#,@,etc) and be able to use CFN check printing.

You must rename the folder without the "&" sign in your case. This must be done in DOS. Then save the CFN settings again and you should be able to print checks.
