Topic: MICR font missing on checks

I installed CheckForm 4.0 but the checks don’t have the MICR font, only regular characters. I checked the font folder c:\windows\fonts and there is no MICR font there either.

Somehow, the installation did not copy the fonts. Please contact us and we will send you the three font files: - mi______.PFB (Type 1 MICR font outlines)
- mi______.PFM (Type 1 MICR font metrics)
- usps.ttf (True Type Postal bar code font)
To install the fonts::- Copy or drag the three files to your C: drive.
- Open C:\WINDOWS\Fonts.
- Select File | Install New Font
- Browse to your C: drive and select the usps font from the list.
- Select OK.
- Repeat steps 3-5 for the MICR font.
To check to see it the font is working: - Open Navigator.
- Start to print a check.
- When you get to the salmon screen select Select Printer
- Select CFN Settings. The Transit Code and On-Us code should now be in the MICR font.
