Topic: CF 4.0.5 will not print last check sometimes.

Hi,
Currently configured to print 2 checks per page. When I select the Print Checks option, AND there are an odd number of checks to print beginning with 3 (only 1 check works fine), then the image of the last check does not show in Checkform print review and no check is printed. However, the check in FN is updated from PRT to REL. Craig Harris

Craig:Thanks for catching this problem in CheckForm Test Mode Version 4.0.5. I was able to confirm it. A different problem happens when you print 5 checks (all 5 print OK, but a blank check and a blank page print also). We will post a new reply here when the software has been revised. Meanwhile, you can work around this bug by either of these methods: - Print a duplicate check on each page
- Avoid printing an odd number of checks

Craig:New version CheckForm 4.0.6 fixes this. Please do a Test Mode Software Update and reply and let us know if it works for you. To do a Test Mode Software Update: - Start to print a check.
- When you get to salmon-colored check preview screen, select Select Printer The Select Printer screen appears.
- Select CFN Settings. The CheckForm Settings screen appears.
- Select Help | About CheckForm. The About CheckForm screen appears.
- Type “t” on your keyboard. A message “CheckForm set to test mode” appears.
- Select OK. You are returned to the About CheckForm screen.
- Select Software Update.
- Follow the prompts to update to 4.0.6.
- Select Exit to close the CheckForm Settings screen.
- Finish printing the checks.
We noticed problems printing 3, 4, 5, 7 and an odd number of checks. This new version should print any number of checks. Note: The problem only occurs when printing two checks per page. For CheckForm 9.0 users, please do the same Test Mode update to fix the same problem in 9.0. - David [This message has been edited by David (edited 04-17-2008).]

CheckForm 4.0.6 prints 3 checks OK, so the problem is fixed.
