I have noticed the contents of my checks are creeping higher and higher and now the amount in words is now visible in our window envelopes. I have had our IT department change my printer drivers with 6 different choices, tried on a completely different printer and used another PC and login. I eventually tried to adjust the row values to move my data down one row but parts such as the date and amount box do not adjust with the lowering of the date and number dollar amount row change. Please assist and many thanks in advance.

Barb:

You have tried the right things to try to fix this. You are also correct that there is no way to move everything up or down in CheckForm 4.0. We are hoping a future version will allow more flexibility. But you still should not be having this problem.

It sounds like your check printer has mechanical problems and is not grabbing the paper correctly. Try printing a Word document with 1” margins and see if it prints with 1” margins.

I would expect that a different printer would solve the problem but from your comments, it did not. For testing, you can print on any printer. Are you saying that the problem is the same on all printers?

Is everything on the check moved up by the same amount? You can compare current checks with some checks printed before this problem started.

If none of this helps, please mail us a sample check so we can see the problem and how far the items have moved.
