Since we have DSL now, Interactive Data says we need the WINDCI version of Navigator Access in order to get our data via our DSL line.
Currently I still have to go back to dial up modem to get access. This is irritating. Is there a way I can make the Navigator Access work with my DSL?

What version of Navigator Access are you using? You should already have the Windci version. Navigator Access 5.0 or 5.1 is the Windci version.
From NA, select Help | About Navigator Access and verify the version.

While in NA, select View | IDC Settings. On the Interactive Data Communications Parameters screen, under
Connection type in the upper left corner, select "TCP/IP". This will use the internet.

The other choice is "modem" is for dialup connection.
The Phone number, modem type, modem string, port and line speed are only used with the modem choice. The are not needed for the TCP/IP internet connection.

For the internet connection, select Advanced button. The Host Name should be already set to "idcrp.intdata.com:600"
