When I try select the Retrieve button, I get the error message WDCI.log file does not exist, and nothing else happens. This happens with both Navigator Access 5.0 and 5.1. I notice also that the IDC Settings window Interactive Data Communications Parameters used to have a section where I could select Test or Production. That area is now blank. My computer uses Windows 2000.

This could be caused by a number of things. One possibility is that your WDCI.ini file has errors. Try these steps:
Use Window's Add/Remove Programs feature to Uninstall Navigator Access. Uninstall all versions, if you have more than one installed.
Use Windows Explorer to find and delete the WDCI.ini file. It is located in your Windows directory, typically C:\winnt\WDCI.ini (for Windows 2000 and NT) or C:\WINDOWS\WDCI.ini (for Windows XP). If you can find the file WDCI, but the .ini is not displayed, go to Tools | Folder Options | View in Windows Explorer and uncheck the box next to Hide extensions for known file types.
Reboot your computer.
Reinstall Navigator Access
