I recently upgraded to the newest version of Pricelink per the automatic update procedure. I changed none of my parameters but I can no longer get my quotes. The system just hangs and I have to ctrl alt del my way out. Scott Paticoff scottjpat@usa.net

Scott:As of 10/6/08, here is no new Software Update for PriceLink 6.0. It is still Version 6.0.0 as released 8/21/06. Perhaps you did a Software Update and install anyway; that is fine, you still should have Version 6.0.0. - At what point does it hang? That is, what did you select just before it hung and on what screen does it hang?
- If you can still get to the main PriceLink screen, try Software Update and be sure to install to the Navigator program folder. If you aren't sure where that is, let us know. Don't assume the default installation folder is correct.
- On the main PriceLink screen, select Help | About PriceLink and reply with the Version number at the top of the screen (should be 6.0.0).
- Has anything else changed on your computer since the last time PriceLink worked? Any new software installed? Any changes to your firewalls or antivirus software or hardware?
- If you call Interactive Data for support on this, they may insist on installing "Datafeed" software on your computer. Do not do this. PriceLink already has a customized version of Datafeed and installing the Interactive Data version will prevent PriceLink from working. If you have already installed Datafeed, contact us for assistance removing it.

Scott: I understand that PriceLink runs OK but the DATAFEED screen stops on the line "Red Hat Enterprise Linux..." Two lines later it shoud say "Who?" and PriceLink should autoamtically enter your IDC user name and password. Please reinstall PriceLink. During the install, it will say "PriceLink settings already exist." Select Yes to keep the current settings. When it displays the Interactive Data Communications Parameters, verfy that the connection type is TCP/IP and that your IDC user name and password are correct. If it still does not work, please sedn me the following files which are all in your Navigator program files folder: - wdci.log
- naccesserr.log
- apr2.prn
