Even though I am the moderator, I have a question that I am hoping John VD can answer.I downloaded my prices as I have done since we first started using the feature, and for the first time, half the stock prices are as of 3/14/01. I actually print out my apr2.prn file for my records. It lists the stock symbols, prices, and date of price. I checked several of them and they actually traded today 3/15/01. This is the first time I have seen this happen. Is there a problem? Help! Thanks, Pam

Pam,No, I am do not know exactly why you would not get prices for the 15th. What symbols did you have problems with? Email me your symbol file if you like. Also what time did you request the prices. One possible situation would be for mutual funds (????X) which do not get priced until the end of the day. So if you request the price before they were available then you would get yesterday's prices. I would suggest that you just request the prices again.

John...it is happening again. It isn't mutual funds. I haven't done anything different than normal. I am getting the price list showing 5/25, 5/29, 5/30 and 5/31 dates on the apr2.prn file. Is this a problem with web site where we are getting prices from? Any suggestions? Tx Pam

John...I did a manual check on the prices, and it looks like the prices are correct, but the file is loading bad dates. When I update the prices in the entity, the bad dates load up there on the valuation date too. So, the prices are good which is my main concern, but the dates aren't. Tx Pam

Pam,The apr2.prn file is a directly download from Yahoo for the same prices shown under the Portfolio. If the securites are not traded then the prices could be for an older date. But that is very rare, more for bonds from Navigator Access. If you want please email me the apr2.prn file and the sym2.prn files and I will try to recreate the same problem.
