I have been using FN version 7.0 for some time. I also use Stock Web Pro to download over 250 security prices.

I recently installed an update to StockWeb 2.1. I had been using an older version, I think it was 1.0.

I can't get 2.1 to work on my system. I've got the program installed, but when it gets to the "access prices to update securities" screen, the whole think freezes and I can't go any further.

Can you help me?

The "Access Prices to Update Securities" screen is after the prices have been retrieved from StockWeb.

1) So did the prices get retrieved from StockWeb? Verify the price file (apr2.prn) did get updated with the new prices for the current date.

2) If the prices were retrieved then try running the menu choice "Access Prices to Update Securities" instead of the StockWeb menu choice. This is what is run anyway after StockWeb has retrieved the prices.

3) Also the "Access Prices to Update Securities?" Yes, No, Cancel screen may not be the active screen. So the keyboard may not work for that screen. Try using the mouse to select the 'Yes'.

4) Is the screen "Access Prices to Update Securities" with a security to update? If so verify that security info is correct. Not sold. Has a symbol. etc.

Sounds like StockWeb is running but the securities are not getting updated. But if StockWeb is not even running then verify it is installed in the FN program folder. You can run StockWeb by itself outside of FN, just to prove that it works.

Please let us know if this does not solve the problem.
