It works best to have the data files shared over the network. This way everyone can access the exact same data. Whenever it is updated by one person then everyone gets the latest data.
If you want to control who updates it then put a "public" copy for everyone to access on the network and keep the "work" copy on a local c: drive so only one person can update it.
Back to the original problem, if the data files were backed up to a floppy disk and then transfered to the other computer. First, make sure it is the lastest backup. Second, when restoring multiple data files or companies make sure they are going into different folders. One way is just to copy all the files from the floppy disk to a separate folder. Another way is in FN open the data files on the A: drive and then File Save As to the C: drive in the desired folder.
