For some reason I am unable to post transactions to this account. When I am entering my monthly cash transactions, and I try to post to this account I get an error message saying "Account: MEDICAL EXPENSES not found." I am unable to print a detail of the transactions in this account...I get the same message saying "account not found."

I have posted transactions to this account all year long. The account shows up on the income statement and has a $4,085 balance. The account also shows up in my chart of accounts with a $4,085 balance.

Have you tried running the Test & Correct utility? If not, from FN select Utilities | Test & Correct Files | All of the Above. This will cycle through all of the tests including the Account Alphabetical Index. Please let us know if the Test & Correct Utility finds any problems.
