How should one characterize a limited partnership holding, especially if there will be ongoing calls. If it is set up as an investment account, which it is, and quantify it as having 1 share (is that right?, how does a further request for funds get entered. If it goes to the investment account the screen asks for "how many shares". Since it is increasing the investment, but I don't want to change the ownership shares, what to do?

You are correct in quantifying your partnership as 1 unit. Whenever you have additional capital calls you would leave 1 in the # of shares box. This would then change the number of units to 2. Then you would have to go to the asset/liability screen and change the number of units back to 1.

This is a good question and something I will address through suggestions to the program enhancements.
