In order to gain access to the SSB download area, you have to:1. Contact your FC at SSB and request access via Advent-Generic Online. As a Fin Nav user of BrokerLink, you will need the Generic On-line access.
2. They will wire their security Department to get a Logon ID and Password. The logon Id is the Branch number ### and the FC number ### and usually the number 8. Then Security will give your broker a password.
3. They will then contact the Advent-Generic On-line location in New York and get an application. They will fill out the application and process the request. This takes 5-7 business days.
4. You will then get an e-mail from SSB giving you the logon ID, password, and website address of where to get your download.
